To start the day enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and a late check out of the hotel.
We will then come pick you up with the offroad vehicles, marking the start of the expedition. The convoy will then start heading out to the rugged Australian Bush, making way to our first serene riverside camp.
Once we get to our camp location, we will enjoy Lunch and then we will spend the early afternoon setting up camp - sleeping arrangements include; Rooftop tents (limited), Ground tents or Swags. *Due to limited number of roof top tents and the number of available vehicles early booking are essential to secure a rooftop tent*
Once camp is set up there will be a short orientation meeting where the guides will go through essential trip information.
Once the meeting is finished you are free to enjoy the rest of your day as you wish, surrounding activities can include swimming, bush walking, Trout fishing and relaxing.
Dinner will be prepared and served for you around the campfire allowing for you to take in the natural beauty and atmosphere of the great Australian wilderness.
The Day begins with a delicious breakfast prepared for you at camp. After eating we will get ready for the day, don't worry your guides will take care of all the vehicle and trip preparation! The convoy will then take off from camp and start our expedition into the Australian Alpine bush, where we will tackle challenging off road tracks, cross rugged rivers, climb steep inclines and take in the beautiful alpine mountain scenery. Through out the expedition we will stop at multiple points of interest ranging from mountain top lookouts, abandoned mines, historic huts and many more unforgettable locations. Our trip will take us away from camp for most of the day so we will enjoy lunch out in picturesque locations each one as different as the next. We will then continue our expedition driving through the rugged bush tracks, taking in more sights as we loop our way back to camp. Once we arrive back at camp enjoy some free time while dinner is prepared and served by our staff, with an opportunity for more free time after dinner and the opportunity to sit around the campfire and relax. No two days are the same, as the next day we will take you on a completely different route giving you the opportunity to experience new and different challenges and locations.
This will be an exciting day as we move from our first camp to the next beautiful campsite of the trip. Before packing down our camp you will enjoy breakfast and then we will start the pack down.
Once Camp is packed up and everyone is ready to go we will hop in our offroad vehicles and start the 4WD trek through the bush to our next remote campsite.
While on the way to the new camp we will take in more sights and stop for lunch.
Upon reaching camp 2 we will begin to unload the vehicles and start setting up our camp. When camp is all set up you can enjoy some free time relaxing around the campfire or go exploring, while our stuff prepare dinner for you.
Days 7-9 will be similar to days 3-5. We will explore new tracks, encounter new 4WD challenges, visit new locations and see new exciting sights. With all meals prepared and served as previous days.
Our last day in the bush will begin with Breakfast served for you, we will then begin packing up our camp and start our 4WD trek back to sealed roads. If time allows we will take in some sights on the way and stopping to have lunch. Once we are back on the asphalt we will head back to Melbourne where you will be dropped off to your hotel. Your hotel stay will include dinner at the hotel restaurant and breakfast the next day where you will check out of the hotel.
For groups of 4 or more people traveling from overseas, we offer free airport transfer to and from the hotel on the first and last day.
For groups of 3 or less airport transfer can be arranged at an additional cost.
